~~Birthday Game Answers~~

Thanks SO much for everyone who commented on my birthday post and played the game!
Now, here I am to reveal all the answers and to give the players their scores. You all did really well considering I kind of gave some "who could know?" kind of questions. ;)

Which wedding dress did I prefer?

Tangled or Frozen?

Wendy or Jane?

Which picture inspires what I'd like on my cover if I ever publish my novel?

Which Marian costume do I prefer?

Charleston Heston or Gregory Peck?

Jean Arthur or Jean Simmons?

Which vintage-y dress do I prefer?

Which C. S. Lewis quote do I prefer?

Which would I find more romantic?

Now, for all of your scores!!

Naomi~ 6/10 for a score of 60!
Heidi~ 8/10 for a score of 80!
Miss March~ 7/10 for a score of 70!
Miss Meg March~ 8/10 for a score of 80!
Olivia~ 6/10 for a score of 60!
Eowyn~ 4/10 for a score of 40!

I think I tallied everyone's scores up correctly.....please do forgive me and comment if I made a mistake! I think I got it right, though... ;)
Thanks SO much for playing!

On a different note, I finally changed my blog design for summer. I really adored my last one, but had prepared some "summery" headers earlier in the year....I forgot about them till now! Better a little late than never. :) How do you like it?

  1. Okay, first--your new header is BEE-UTIFUL. I love the turquoise theme, and especially the font and color of the title! It's so awesome and YOU :) (Just curious, do you have the paid membership Royale feature of PicMonkey? I know you'd mentioned you used that site, so I was just wondering:D )

Well, I done passable;) Now I want to go back and see just which ones I got right and which ones I got wrong XD (I'm totally with you on the Gregory Peck and Marian costume!)

This was such a fun game! And thanks for letting it inspire mine;D

    1. Thank you so much, Olivia! I really love it too. It's definitely one of my favorites! :D
No, I don't have the paid membership feature. I discovered the cool font effect from this tutorial: http://www.picmonkey.com/blog/tutorial-text-mask/
It's super easy and SO cool.

Heehee, thanks so much! I appreciate how many people played my game. :)

  2. Oh, this was fun, Natalie! I'm so excited that I got seven right! :)

That wedding dress is lovely! Would you wear a dress like that for your own wedding, do you think? I like that dress of Marian's best, too. The blue sleeved one looked rather odd to me...not quite as attractive, in my opinion. :) Gregory Peck and Jean Arthur! I like them, too! Which movies have you seen Jean Arthur in? I've seen her in 'Mr. Smith Goes to Washington' and 'You Can't Take It With You.' I have a feeling I've seen her in one other film, as well, but I can't remember which one it was right now. I agree with your idea of what would be more romantic. It definitely means more to be taking a walk with someone you already care a whole lot about, than to be "swept off your feet" (or off the ground, rather) by a perfect stranger! :) That picture from Northanger Abbey is so sweet.

Oh, and I really like your new header! It's lovely! The colors are simply gorgeous! You did a really nice job on it.

    ~Miss March

    1. Thank you, Miss March! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! :D

Well, yes, at the current moment that style of wedding dress is one of my favorites! Of course, my preference could change between now and then... :)
Haha, I agree! The green and brown dress is more elegant, I think.
I've seen Jean Arthur in the two movies you mentioned along with Only Angels Have Wings, The Talk of the Town, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town....and a few others I can't remember right now. ;)
Yes! I totally agree about the walk being more meaningful and romantic than the rescue. The rescue would be romantic at first, but he may turn out to be someone you Don't Like At All. :P

Thanks! I love it to! :D

    2. That was it! Mr. Deeds Goes to Town! I knew I'd seen her in another movie! :) I never heard of the other two you mentioned. Are they good, too?

    3. Miss March,
Yes! They are very good as well. Only Angels Have Wings is an especial favorite of mine. :)

  3. Oh, I've been waiting for this. :D
Wow, 80 out of 100, I'm pretty happy with that. ;) It was a lovely game, Natalie!
And I must say this: Your header is beautiful! I love the colour, it's one of my especial favourites. :D And the print is gorgeous, too.
    ~Miss Meg March

    1. Haha, so glad to hear you've been in suspense. I'm so happy you enjoyed it.
Thank you so much!!! The color is one of my favorites too. :)

  4. Oooooooh loooooooooooovely header! and I was going to answer these but I'm super busy :(((( But I love and agree with all your answers!

    1. Thank you so much, Evie! Aww, I'm sorry you weren't able to play. Perhaps next time! :D

  5. Miss Natalie. I'm sorry that I haven't been on. I read your birthday post, but didn't have the time to make a comment. But happy belated birthday! And the game looked fun as well, though I don't know how well I would have done. I apologise for the lateness, my friend. I hope that you had a happy birthday, though!

    1. Anna,
Don't apologize! I'm so happy to see you commented! I completely understand about not having time. :)
Thank you SO much for commenting and for the belated birthday wishes! I really appreciate it! :D

  6. This was a great game! Thanks for hosting it. I knowww, counting up everyone's marks can be SO confusing sometimes. I can relate, my friend. :-)

And your new look is GORgeous!! I noticed it immediately and sighed. :-) (Sighed in a good way, of course.) You're so good at pretty headers, Natalie!

    ~ Naomi

    1. Naomi,
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it-and that I'm not the only one who has problems counting up scores!! It didn't sound hard till I sat down to do it and I was like "wow....this quite something." I had to check everyone's scores about 3 times. :P haha

Thank you so much! I'm glad you think so-I really appreciate it!

I love comments as much as I love hot tea and a good book.....well, nearly, anyway!
Please keep your words kind and edifying.
