January 2, 2016

Hello all!! Just popping in really quick to tell you HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I'm super excited for 2016. No big reason in particular, but there's so much I'm looking forward to possibly doing. Such as...

~Possibly starting my photography business up
~GRADUATING high school!!!!
~Seeing The Force Awakens in the theater again (I have a review almost ready for you guys)
~Summer. I just really love summer.
~Ice skating once it's cold enough for the ice rink in town to be frozen
~Going to the YMCA with my friend. I went a little stir crazy last winter, so I'm happy to have a way to exercise this year.
~FINISH EDITING MY BOOK. This is actually on my list of goals for this year.
~Maybe going on some sort of trip? We'll see. I just really want to travel. :)

Far greater things ahead:

I wish I had time to do a longer New Year's post...maybe I still will. But for now, this is all I can share with you. :D haha

Anyways, I also wanted to alert you that Heidi's Cinderella Blog Party is starting day after tomorrow!! I'm really excited, although I still have some posts to finish for that. Oops. By the way, how do you like my new header for the party? I'm kind of in love with it. :)

Well, that's all for now. I'm still in the process of getting over a rather awful cold, but I wanted to wish you all a quick Happy New Year! and let you know what's going on with me. :)

ps. Here are some photos from a really beautiful snow that we had back in November. Isn't it gorgeous?? I tramped outside in rubber boots and my light pink robe at dawn and felt like one of the Pevensie children in Narnia. It was so glorious. I just love snow. We have some now, although we didn't for Christmas. And the snow we have now is Not Very Beautiful. Oh well. :) It's still better than brown and gray muddiness!

HAPPY 2016

  1. Aw, I love your blog header! And I equally love both movies. And your photography is lovely. :)

  2. I'm always excited at the beginning of a new year. :)

    A photography business??? How exciting!

I noticed your new header right off and I'm in love with it too! I can't wait for the Cinderella party! (I have a post to finish myself, so you are not alone!)

Oh, and you are going to have a Star Wars review soon?! That means that you saw it...(yes, Cordy, that's precisely what it means.) I'll be interested to see what you think, hmmm. :D I have a little more work to go on mine. As in, I've thought it all out in my head...but I haven't typed one word of it...know what I mean?

    Happy New Year!

    1. Cordy,
Me too! :D It's a very exciting time.

Thank you so much! I can't wait to publish my SW review too, mostly because I'm bursting to talk about it with everyone! And yes, haha, I did see it! I saw it on Christmas Eve! It was quite fun. :)

Happy New Year to you, as well!

  3. Eeeee..... your header, your header, your header!!!! *promptly falls off chair*

*picks self back up again* :D The background and everything just go together with such utter and complete perfection!! SOO fresh and simple and royal and fairytale-ish. I. LOVE. IT!!!

And I apologize that this isn't going to be a regular point-by-point comment, but I got your email this morning and I'm so sorry to hear you still have that cold. :/ :/ We actually all seem to have come down with one again, too at the end of this week. :/

And.... (right in the middle of this comment here) I ended up popping off as we were opening (almost) the last of the Christmas presents. Today mine was from sister #3 and (there's a very very long story attached), but suffice to say I was squealing SOOO hard when I opened it!!! ;D It's got something to do with ODS, so I'll tell you about it when I write (which maaaaaay have to be after the Cinderella party *clears throat*). :D

    1. Hahaha, SO glad you like it Heidi! It's definitely one of my favorites...it's embarrassing how many times I've brought up my own blog just to look at my header. ;)

Aww, yeah, thanks. :( I'm feeling a little bit better but this cold has been hanging on tightly...I hope you and your family gets better soon, too!

Eeeekk, Heidi, now I'm in so much suspense!! That's just too cruel to make me wait. ;) heehee

  4. Oh, this was lovely, Natalie! :-)
The Force Awakens was Really Good. I'm planning on seeing it again this Tuesday (they have tickets heaps cheaper on Tuesdays). I enjoyed it very much!
Your header is gorgeous (and the profile picture). I love Cinderella (2015). :-D I got it as a Christmas present, and I'm so happy I did!
Oh, those pictures really DO look like the ones off Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (you just need a lamp post)! They're beautiful. I've never seen snow, although I've always longed to. (That last photo = such amazingness. It's so moody and full of mystery. I love it.)
"Would you like an adventure now, or shall we have our tea first?"
    "Tea first!" :-D
    ~Miss Meg

    1. Thank you so much, Miss Meg!
Oh, that's fantastic!! Have fun! I really loved it...I can't wait to share all the whys and hows in my review!
You got it for Christmas! That's wonderful. :)
Awwww, thank you! We actually *do* have a lamppost but I didn't take a picture of it. I do love being able to look out my window when it's snowing and see snow falling on our lamppost. It makes me happy. :) heehee
      Oh, yes, tea!! :D

  5. The Snow is not beautiful? Aww, It IS BEAUIFUL, Natalie :) I have always loved the snow. It doesn't snow in this part of the world. But the books have made me fall in love in with the idea of 'A Snowy Winter and A White Christmas'. God! When can I see one? I think, you are very lucky dear :D

    Blessed 2016!

    1. Ria Sanive,
I love snow, too! We have a little more than we did when I first wrote this post, so the snow is much more pretty now. :)
I used to live in Florida, so I know how hard it is to have no hope of "white Christmases". I'm sorry! I hope you can have a snowy Christmas/winter soon. :)

Thank you-I hope you have a blessed 2016 as well!
