Spring Makeover

I usually don't do posts highlighting my new blog designs, but I'm so, so, SO happy with how this one came out that I had to direct your attention to it! :D As much as I loved my old design, it was getting a little to drab for my mood. It's currently drab, gray, and cold where I live, but I'm yearning for spring. Thus my new design. (Which, happily, I was able to pull together without the usual stress and bother that redesigning my blog sometimes gives me! It can be such a tedious process :P)

I'm also currently watching Pride and Prejudice 1995 with my mother. It's one of my favorite "spring-time movies". :) Thus, the lovely Lizzy Bennet pictures! (I wish I could come up with some appropriate quotes from the film to include in this post, but the only application I can think of is that this weather is "tolerable, I suppose, but not handsome enough to tempt me.")

Anyways, I'll hopefully be popping back in soon, but meanwhile I wish you all a happy March. Hopefully you're enjoying more spring-like weather than I am at the moment. :)
Now I must run off and do some chores and schoolwork. Things that are, again,  "tolerable, I suppose, but-"

All right, I'll stop. ;)

  1. Aww! Natalie! It's BEAUTIFUL! So colorful and sunny!!! Ooooh! I LIKE it! Great job!!! :D

Also I really liked your use of the Pride and Prejudice quote! ;) The way you brought it up again at the end made me smile. :) Oh, and the picture you included in this post is LOVELY! Have fun with your chores and schoolwork...if you can. ;)

    1. Thank you so much, Miss March!! :D

Heehee, I'm glad you enjoyed that. I wasn't sure if it sounded corny or not, but I decided to just go with it. Sometimes I feel my blog needs some more humor. ;)

    2. Nope. It wasn't corny. Not in my opinion. ;) And about your blog needing more humor. Hmmm...I don't know about that. I've never felt that your blog was lacking in humor. Actually, I've never felt that your blog was lacking in anything. It's so uniquely yours I can't imagine it needing anything it doesn't already have. Speaking of humor, though, what about your "How Not To Be a Lady" post? That was excellent humor if I ever saw it. :D

  3. Your blog design is SO fresh and dainty; it makes me think of Anne of Green Gables and other fresh Edwardian sorts of things.

And is Spring EVER the time for period dramas and P&P is certainly one of the very best of the type. BTW: your profile photo is just to cute. :)

I hope Spring comes your way soon! :)

  5. It's beautiful! I especially love the middle picture. :)
We're not having spring, (the opposite, haha!) but I still love reading about everyone else beginning theirs. ;) It's been really hot over the past few months, so I'm happy for a cool change right now.

Oh yes, that's right! You live in Australia! Well, I hope your autumn is very beautiful! I know I'll be ready for cool weather once summer is over, but right now I'm longing for warmth. :)

  6. The new look is perfect! And all the new additions to your sidebar! That header of Lizzy!!! I love the parts in movies where they go for walks! I know, that's random but no less true. :) I also like that middle picture in the header. The colors are lovely! :)

Don't you love that Victor Hugo quote?!
